Infiniti keeps it simple by offering a single model QX50. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available. Power comes from a 3.7L V6 that makes a healthy 325 hp and 267 ft-lb of torque; it is connected to a standard 7-speed automatic.
Safety equipment includes seatbelt pretensioners, the Infiniti Advanced Airbag System, roof-mounted airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake distribution, brake assist, tire pressure monitoring, traction control and vehicle dynamic control.
The QX50 comes with automatic climate control, lots of power accessories, leather seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and 8-way driver and 4-way passenger power-adjustable seats. RearView Monitor and the Infiniti Controller 7-inch screen, which displays audio settings, fuel economy information and more are also standard.
An array of packages allows some customization. The Technology package adds adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and lane and departure assistance. A Deluxe Touring package adds an 8-way power front passenger seat, 19-inch wheels and HID headlamps. The Premium package includes a Bose 11-speaker audio system, roof rails, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel and an automatic memory system.

Rear-seat legroom has been expanded via some exterior revisions that include a longer wheelbase, an added standard power sunroof and heated front seats. The trim lineup has been simplified and now just includes one model packed with standard equipment with optional of all-wheel drive.
The QX50 returns for 2017 virtually unchanged.
