At Landmark Dodge of Morrow, we're always keeping an eye on upcoming models, and recent spy shots of the refreshed 2025 Ram 3500 HD in Colorado have grabbed our attention. While details can change during development, the team at Carbuzz.com shared some exciting insights about this heavy-duty pickup, along with spy shots from testing in the Rockies.
The images reveal updated exterior styling and a revamped cabin. There's also talk that the 6.7-liter Cummins straight-six turbodiesel will be paired with a new, more reliable ZF transmission, possibly delivering increased torque and improved fuel efficiency. According to MoparInsiders, the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 will continue to power lower trims for a bit longer.
The 2025 Ram 1500 debuted in November and introduced slimmer headlights and refined styling. It looks like the HD lineup will follow suit, with slimmer lighting and a redesigned grille featuring new mesh patterns. Other body elements, such as the fenders, doors, mirrors, hood, and roof, remain unchanged.
In the rear, expect fresh taillight graphics, though the chrome bumper seems unchanged. The spy shots also offered a peek at the interior, revealing a Laramie trim with premium upholstery and contrast stitching. The center console features a vertical display similar in size to the current 12-inch screen, but the three top buttons for hazard lights, lane assist, and traction control are no longer visible. We anticipate these controls have been relocated to the driver's side of the screen.
Reviews of the 2024 Ram 3500 have been overwhelmingly positive. Edmunds praised the truck's comfortable seating, quiet cabin, and feature-rich infotainment system, calling its interior one of the best among heavy-duty trucks. Car and Driver likened the Ram 3500 to an NFL lineman, describing it as massively powerful and refined. They also highlighted the Power Wagon and Rebel trims, noting their off-road readiness with skid plates, aggressive tires, and tough suspensions.
The Rocky Mountains made for a stunning backdrop in these spy shots, and we're eager to welcome the 2025 Ram 3500 HD to our lot at Landmark Dodge. Stay tuned to our blog for more updates on specs, sightings, and this next-generation heavy hauler!
