We are always keeping our eyes peeled and ears open here at Landmark Dodge of Atlanta for news about incoming models, as we are poised at a time of change that is unprecedented in the auto industry. Ram has released a new video teaser of its upcoming all-electric Ram 1500 pickup truck, which is on schedule to enter the market in 2024. The video is called “Ram Revolution / First Look” and portrays the front of the vehicle with a very futuristic shape and unique LED headlight.
The version featured on Twitter also includes info that suggests the presentation of the vehicle during Fall of 2022: it’s a bit hard to tell if this is just a concept version or already a very advanced design that is getting ready for production. The official word on the work beginning of an all-electric pickup was confirmed in July 2021 by the way of the Stellantis EV Day 2021, and that this is likely to be a 100% electric version, forging ahead in a selection lineup of many models that are still hybrid or full-on standard gas.
The base of this pickup will be on the all-new STLA Frame platform, which promises a range of up to 500 miles, and battery packs much larger than the norm. We are confident that the Ram’s version will lead the pack in so many unique and Eco-conscious ways.
The current-year’s Ram model you can find here at Landmark Dodge is roomy and quiet with plenty of technology features while offering up the choice of electrified V6 and V8 engines. It offers impressive fuel economy and towing power, and we love the capabilities and practicality of the optional RamBox integrated locking bed storage bins. Before electrification becomes the norm, we are also full-on celebrating the big boys in the form of 702-horsepower TRX performance trucks, conjuring up images of THE truck to beat for high-speed desert running and all-around perfected boulder-conquering swagger.
Favorited for good reason by the Texas Auto Writers Association for its accessible technology, comfortable and high-quality interior, smooth ride, and class-leading payload abilities, we feel the TRX IS quite possibly the most capable off-road conquering beast to ever lay its tires cordially in the Lone Star State or anywhere else for that matter! Everyone who has lived with the Ram 1500 within writing and media circles has nothing but praise for its abilities and character, and so we are certain that the all-electric versions of our favorites will continue to be legendary, leadership-role fit on the jobsite, and as top-to-bottom tough as they come.
