The esteemed manufacturer Stellantis has announced a limited run of factory-modified 2021 Ram 1500 pickups that are scheduled to hit the asphalt of dealer lots nationwide this summer.
This Mopar 2021 Ram 1500 Special Edition is equipped with a 5.7-liter Hemi engine, runs on the “Stone-bone” stock and makes 365 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. This edition starts with a combination of 250 crew-cab 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star pickups, and then adds the goodies in the form of side steps, tow hooks, adjustable tie-downs, a spray-in bedliner, body-color tonneau cover, all-weather floor mats, and hardware for the task of exterior/interior trailer cameras. These bits are also accented with black stripes on each side that run from the doors to the taillights, a bit reminiscent of the very awesome and sinister “Rumble Bee” pickups from the mid 2000s.
There are gloss-black surround accents for the stock grille badge and the added characteristics of side mirrors, hood louvres, and 20-inch wheels. Inside there are premium cloth seats that feature Light Diesel Gray stitching with “Mopar” logos for the headrests, and Special Edition badging in the instrument panel. Color choice is everything when it comes to these Editions that properly accent your own distinct style, and this Ram 1500 is available to devilishly dip in Billet Silver, Bright White, Flame Red, and Hydro Blue.
