Since the first Jeeps became available to the public, owners have been drawn to recreating their military roots. Whether it’s painting them olive drab, adding a white star or two, or outfitting them with a shovel and axe for that rugged infantry look, the Jeep’s connection to its Willys MB heritage has always been undeniable. Enter the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 Special Edition, a unique model that pays homage to its wartime predecessor with a striking design and a name as bold as its inspiration here at Landmark Dodge of Morrow.

The Jeep Wrangler has a storied history as one of the longest-running names in the U.S. auto market, making its debut as an off-road icon back in 1986. But its legacy reaches even further back to the Willys MB, the rugged vehicle that earned its stripes as the U.S. Army's trusty workhorse during World War II. Now, Jeep pays tribute to this legendary ancestor with the special 2025 Wrangler 4xe Willys '41 edition.

Taking cues from the Jeep '41 concept first shown at the 2022 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, this edition showcases its military heritage proudly. The standout olive-drab-inspired '41 paint color is complemented by robust 17-inch aluminum wheels painted to match. These wheels are wrapped in capable 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, ready to tackle any terrain. Adding a nod to its roots, the center cap of each wheel features a silhouette of the original Willys MB, making this edition a true celebration of Jeep’s iconic past.

The exterior of the Willys '41 edition is sprinkled with charming nods to its military origins, styled to resemble the classic stenciling seen on U.S. Army vehicles during World War II. A light blue "WILLYS / 4XE" decal graces the side of the hood, a bold black "'41" decal sits proudly on the hood, and a touch of blue appears again in the "4XE" marking beneath the left taillight.

Inside, the tribute continues with thoughtful details. The seats feature tan cloth upholstery, and the dashboard sports a fabric panel that ties in beautifully with the theme. A '41 badge on the shifter adds a finishing touch to the retro-inspired cabin. The Willys '41 edition offers versatile roof options, including a body-color hardtop, the convenient Sky One-Touch powered soft top, or a classic tan soft top. Plus, it comes equipped with practical upgrades like a rear locking differential and sturdy steel bumpers on both the front and back.

This special edition exclusively features Jeep's advanced 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain, blending a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine with two electric motors. Together, they deliver an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, with the added benefit of up to 21 miles of all-electric driving. With its blend of rugged charm and modern innovation, the Willys '41 is set to arrive at dealerships before the end of 2024.
