The Jeep line has allowed us to get to know many adventuresome drivers here at Landmark Dodge of Morrow, as each model has consistently proven to be equipped for conquering every terrain imaginable. From city streets to the uncharted and treacherous trails in the wild, these are vehicles that are challenging, unique, and incredibly reliable. The 2025 Jeep Compass appeared on the MotorWeek blog recently, and they celebrated its legendary heritage infused with today's cutting-edge technology.
The Compass’s second generation was first released for the 2017 model year, boasting today’s best technology features and an entirely new design. The incoming model’s first visual impression offers nicely sculpted body lines and athletic proportions, while still paying homage to Jeep’s signature styling cues. One of the first things everyone notices as a Jeep makes its way toward you is the traditional seven-slot grille, and robust wheel arches poised and ready for action. Sleek LED headlights and taillights contribute to the Compass’s prominently modern touch, and the available panoramic sunroof allows you to fully enjoy the benefits of your latest adventure’s atmosphere quality.
Sporty alloy wheels and a range of vibrant new color options ensure that the Compass turns heads rapidly wherever it may roam, and there are many other modern amenities to keep occupants well-informed and entertained. Numerous USB ports, Apple Maps, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS navigation, Wireless Charging, and Parking Assistance employ the best of today’s technology to make the ride more accessible and enjoyable. The 10.1-inch touchscreen provides a user-friendly portal to access it all, and there are many segment-leading safety features to get you to your next destination with confidence.
A 360-degree Camera System, Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, and Automatic Parking Assist are just a few examples of how a Jeep consistently has your back! Speaking of strong and sturdy backs, Jeep lovers have undoubtedly spent their valuable R&R time tackling canyons, ascending hills, and crawling other challenging terrain elements. The 2025 Compass’s interior provides high-quality and welcoming materials such as soft-touch surfaces, leather upholstery, and other sophisticated comfort elements.
The Car and Driver staff have enjoyed the privilege of testing scores of vehicles each year and reporting back to the masses about everything horsepower and torque-related. After a look at the incoming Compass, they were impressed with its attractive starting price, powerful new engine, and excellent standard features. The rugged Trailhawk trim now boasts an all-terrain tire, while the Latitude Lux trim offers sweet extended features that step up the Compass’s game attractively. Heated leather-trimmed front seats, remote start, and rain-sensing windshield wipers are a few of the Latitude’s added goodies, along with very cool larger 18-inch wheels.
Each 2025 Jeep Compass model is powered by a new 200-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four cylinder. It’s mated to an 8-speed automatic, with all-wheel drive as standard on all models. Trailhawk models add the useful low “crawler” gear ratio along with a Rock mode, which keeps the Compass in first gear and sends torque to the wheels with the most grip. After a telling trip to their test track, the Compass proved to be much more agile than an initial glance at its boxy profile would suggest. The all-wheel-drive system did not stumble at all over moderate obstacles, and the Compass offers 2,000 lbs of towing capability when properly equipped.
