The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid fared quite well in Texas over the past week, as it has proven itself here at Landmark Dodge of Atlanta and nationwide to be one of the best and well-equipped family vehicles ever to roll off the lot! For the sixth consecutive time, it garnered the Family Vehicle of Texas honor and the Green Vehicle of Texas award at the Texas Automotive Writers Association’s annual roundup.
Under the vast skies and many oil-occupied fields that are in longstanding and time-tested relationships with trucks, they also snagged a win in the TAWA Auto Roundup Best Minivan category. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid provides an all-electric range of more than 30 miles and a total range equivalent of more than 500 miles. Any busy family will immediately recognize the benefit of more than 170 honors since its introduction as a minivan, including a top safety pick + rating from the IIHS. Still existing as the only plug-in hybrid in the segment, the Pacifica is eligible for multiple lucrative federal tax credits as well as any available state and local tax credits.
Also laying claim to Best Interior and Best Feature awards, the Hybrid Pinnacle model offers the most luxurious interior in its class and makes every journey memorable and comfortable with high-grade additions such as Caramel Nappa leather seats with quilted seat side bolsters on all three rows. The second-row captain’s chairs with a unique seat of two movable lumbar comfort pillows and a large console area that provides the added convenience of dual-level storage. Among some of the brand-new features for the year are Amazon Fire TV as well as a new rear-seat reminder feature that recognizes when rear doors are opened and closed before the ignition starts.
The Texas Auto Writer’s Association is one of the most reputable automotive press organizations in the industry, consistently attempting to remain on the better side of accuracy and quality during reviews. In the spring they enjoy producing the Texas Auto Roundup, and the fall brings the all-around excitement (and potential of being fully lassoed!) at the Texas Truck Rodeo. Since 1925, the Chrysler brand has been doling out amazing vehicles for the extreme sports lover, business owner, and growing family at hand.
What do all of us here at Landmark think is the Pacifica’s most amazing feat? The second and 3rd-row seats folding flat into the floor make for a huge and useful interior, and no other manufacturer has managed to duplicate its diverse stance. The Touring L now gets a surround-view camera, and the Limited gains the upper-end audio of Harmon Kardon sound. The NHTSA gives the Pacifica five stars for safety, while the IIHS rated it “Good” after all six crash tests.
