The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is the line’s first fully electric SUV with its sights on the U.S. market, and “all inclines should tremble” at the mention of its robust and climb-ready 600 horsepower. The first feature that caught the attention of the staff at Cars.com was the huge infotainment touchscreen on the passenger side and a very luxurious interior with ventilated seats for those enjoying the expedition in the rear.
This incoming model is quite a change from the somewhat clunky and “Hummer-esque” vibe of today, with a more streamlined body and futuristic touches that visually make things more modern. The roofline is a bit more sloped and aerodynamic, while poised behind a rear wing that boasts a profile a bit more reminiscent of a retro Jeep. There are new underbody shields, unique side sills, and front tire spats that help make the SUV much more feasible in the aerodynamics department, making for the lowest drag coefficient yet for a Jeep, chiming in triumphantly at 0.29.
The Wagoneer S Launch Edition trim features a trademark seven-slot enclosed grille that lights up as you approach the vehicle, very cool black and gray accents, and a dual-pane panoramic moonroof for optimal atmospheric enjoyment. Striking additional satin-painted accents provide the perfect finishing touches to the Launch Edition’s look that goes light on the chrome. Onboard are two dual electric motors combined with a 400-volt, 100-kilowatt-hour battery, which are the tools yielding over 300 miles of range, and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds.

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer features one electric drive module per axle, which offers the combination of an electric motor, traditional gearing, and high-tech power electronics all in one collective unit.
