With interiors featuring premium leather and upscale features such as heated and ventilated seats, the full-size pickup has come an incredibly long way. The Ram Laramie Longhorn and Limited have taken the top spot for the Cars.com Luxury Vehicle of the Year Award, solidifying true excellence!
What the Ram line has accomplished has not gone unnoticed, as both Ford and Chevy have given the F-150 and Silverado updated interiors to compete with Ram. The F-150 and Ram 1500’s top trims were pitted against each other in an effort to determine which was king.
The 2022 Ram 1500 Limited had richer detailing and a more dominating presence during the showdown, with quilted door panels and much higher-end front door and A-pillar décor. Both trucks have huge front center consoles that offer separation from the driver and front passenger, but the Ram’s backseat area is larger with the industry’s current-best luxury fittings. Cars.com called it the “ultimate” in the truck realm, featuring all of the good bits any truck lover would need.
The Ram has analog gauges that build a frame around the central information screen, and each gauge pops with a 3D-styled appearance. Both the F150 and the Ram feature a forward storage bin, but the Ram’s is configurable with a sliding section. The Ram’s rear seating area is more comfortable because of its rear bench seat and reclining backrest, ready to take a load off of any tall passenger during a long journey. The final verdict here was in favor of the Ram: it has always been the ultimate pickup when it comes to luxury features!
The Ram series always prevails with its abundance of technology features and awesome storage options. All Crew Cab models also feature in-floor storage and the RamBox: a well-lit, fully-drainable, locking storage system built right into the side of the bed that allows you to store anything from cold drinks to extra tools!
